Guardian My Life respects your privacy. This policy explains how our websites and internal business tools collect, use, store and delete information, including information received through YouTube API Services.
Information we collect
We may collect information that you choose to submit, such as contact details, appointment requests and insurance-planning information. Our websites may also collect basic technical and attribution information such as page visits, referral routes, timestamps and browser-session data.
YouTube API Services
Guardian My Life uses YouTube API Services to connect an authorized Guardian My Life YouTube channel, upload owner-approved videos, read channel and video metadata, and display provider-reported status or performance information to authorized business users.
- Access occurs only after the Google account holder grants permission through Google OAuth.
- We request only the permissions needed for the disclosed functions, including read-only YouTube access and video upload access.
- We may store encrypted authorization tokens, channel and video identifiers, approved metadata, upload receipts, publishing status and provider-reported metrics.
- We do not request or store a Google password.
Use of YouTube information is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested services, operate and secure Guardian My Life systems, manage approved marketing activity, measure route performance, respond to inquiries and satisfy legal or compliance obligations. YouTube API data is not sold and is not used for unrelated advertising profiles.
Storage, protection and retention
Access credentials are encrypted and restricted to authorized systems. Business records are retained only as reasonably necessary for operations, security, compliance and audit purposes. YouTube authorization data is deleted or disconnected when access is revoked or no longer required, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Your choices and deletion requests
You may revoke Guardian My Life's Google access at any time through Google Account third-party connections. You may also request access, correction or deletion through our contact page. We will process a valid request within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.
Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers used to operate our systems, authorized insurance carriers when necessary for requested insurance services, or authorities when required by law. We do not authorize service providers to use YouTube API data for their own independent purposes.
Changes and contact
